Well, sadly i already did try but the case isn't great for cable management as motherboard and the backing are close together. Some of the cables were pretty short to begin with so i couldn't reroute much more. I'm thinking of getting a new case though. I like this one but i really want a more conventional one that has better cable management. Looking at the obsidian 650d.

Yeah, i didn't even think to switch it when i installed it. I'll switch it right now.

* thanks for the advice, just switched it. Just realized that this case really has no cable management at all, even less than what i had thought:/*

Send it to me with a sixpack of Carling and a (paid) return postage crate,
You won't know it when you get it back :)
Swapping the Psu round effectively shortens your cables so instead, mount the Pc on a couple of bits of wood on a sheet of ply or wood to raise it 2-3" and get it off the carpet

OK the build/refurb thus far..

I was determined to get the 180mm rad in there but at the same time utilize 2 Silverstone 180mmAir Penetrator fans in a push pull config, however they fouled the mobo by about 3mm so i took the top 180mm fan and literaly shaved 3.5mm off the bottom of it, this means it just fits in but at the same time the fan does not foul the rad in any way, of course i also had to cut out some of the mobo tray just like Tom did in his video.

Ive got all the wiring and tubing to do next, oh and also notice how ive fitted the Pump res combo by using a 150mm L shaped bracket bolted to the rear of the case under the PSU, this was because i didnt want to be running tubes all the way to the front of my case and it being an FT02 theres no floor space available so i had to get inventive, i do hope it turns out alright looks wise but hey ho time will tell.

Those cables.
Those excessive molex adapters.
My suggestion, take it all apart. Just completely redo the wiring and not only think it out as you go but before you start. Decide how you want the cables to lie and where you are going to route them/ how you will route them.

looks like you shop at the same auto parts store i do!!! VIP???

Haha we have two systems identical dad still has one this is the other which i acquired
And i am forced to break out the tape and ties on my main machine now as its starting to get a little hot cause the cables are impeding airflow

Just decided to finally finish it. It's for my 7 yr old daughter. I've had it on a test bench (cardboard box) since Feb '12. It just sips the power so I used it myself.

Everything's painted white. I did all the white sleeving. I cut every unnecessary wire coming from the PSU, painted it and its originally blue fan. It was a lot less stress than the last build.

Very sleek! Your daughter has one heck of a rig :na:

Looks pretty good Clonazepam. Got any shots of the inside? You know how we love our cable management.... :) Plus from what I can see CM looks decent in this build. Nice job.

Thanks. Right now she's into farming, but she can hold own against her dad in some Super Street Fighter IV.

You can see every cable there is to see in the pics. I hacked off a ton of molex connector cables right out of the PSU. I think two 3-pin fan connectors and the CPU power aren't visible.

Just doing the OCing now, running 5ghz with cpu voltage of 1.4v and memory at 1866mhz at 1.5 volts, its in the middle of stability testing, however Prime does not run well on the FX8 series cpus so using the intel burn test and OCCT Linpack, coming up to 3 hours on Linpack now with out errors, fingers crossed, also temps at 50c to 52c with HW monitor.
