Thanks for finding my rig decent , at least I find it the best around!
The specs for your curiosity are
fX 8350 at 4.5ghz AMD
Nh-d14 triple fan Noctua
M5a99x evo rev.2 Asus
HyperX beast 8gb Kingston
Sapphire 7870 XT (tahiti Limited Edition)
corsair Builder series 750w
And finally the overseer rx-I snow edition this edition of case just got released in the market a couple of weeks ago,

Ill sure mod a bit the cables but my work, my wife and my Golden Retriever keeping me busy all day long :) ill see what I can do for you in the future!

Best Regards!

Just an update with some different cable management. Nothing too special here, no flashy lights or anything. Not really into it. Just like to keep it clean. The Rosewill Challenger is a good case, but the back panel is really tight and everything had to be stuffed in there to fit. I want something new with more room back there.

i3 3225
MSI z77a-g41
Random assortment of RAM. (2 different 2gb sticks and 1 4gb stick. Everything at 1600mhz cl9)
2tb Seagate HDD
GIGABYTE hd7870 Windforce
Corsair cx600
Rosewill Challenger

@tiny voices Looks pretty nice for a fairly budget build. If you're looking for something with more space behind the motherboard, the Antec One is a very nice case for that, because of the way the side panels are shaped. I certainly think it was easier to cable than my current 650D. The Corsair C70 also has nice cable management (a bit more pricey though).

You should look into some cable extensions (Bitfenix do some nice ones) if you really want the best looking cabling possible on that power supply.

I'm surprised you don't get any system instability with such a mix of RAM. I've always heard that different modules tend not to place nice at all, though I guess if the timings are the same.

Story behind the RAM was: Girlfriend got a prebuilt (i3 2130 gateway) which came with the 1x4gb stick. We put my old PSU (antec vp-450) and a gtx650 (she manages med/high settings at her native resolution of 1680x1050) in and swapped my 2x4gb set of RAM for her 1x4gb. I took the 1x4gb and a really old (like from when ddr3 first came out) 2gb stick, and bought another 2gb stick from the classifieds. The 1x4gb stick was 1600mhz cl9 stock and I got lucky with the other 2 sticks being less than 1.5v so I clocked them up to 1600mhz and the same timings. Made it though 7 passes of memtest without problems and never have any issues.

When 3 sticks of RAM are used on an intel based board, FLEX memory mode is enabled which allows the RAM to run in dual channel. Both my BIOS and CPU-Z verify that they are running in dual channel.

EDIT: http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/sb/CS-011965.htm#dual Here it is explained how to run 3 modules in dual channel.

EDIT again: I am not actually in FLEX mode. Just regular old dual channel.

EDIT last time: Looks like we found the same thing. But yeah, this is what I based my set up off.

extremely good job!

Uther39 - Are those vegas fans? Looks sweet, what case is that? TJ07?

Man, you hooked him up! My kids are thrilled with their little $500 FX-6300 and 6670 build I threw together for them. Granted they are 7, 5, and 4 years old, lol.

Yeah I'm not to thrilled with it but the one bad thing about that PSU is the very very stiff cables but I still intend to try and clean it up some more.

Personally I think I picked one of the best cases in existence. It just looks so clean and neat. And check out that cable management huh?

And this is my first real build too.

The drives are behind the motherboard. I removed the drive cages and used only 2.5 inch drives behind the mobo. I looks so much better that way. This is how I was able to install the H100i in the front of the case to get cool air in rather than sucking hot air from inside the case. I hear it's better that way.

You can't tell but the SATA cables are plugged in where they are suppose to be. You just can't see them in the pick. I assure you they are there. Three of them are plugged in. One for SSD, one for HDD, and one for Blu Ray.

I really can't even tell the SATA cables are there either. Did I take this pic before I hooked them up. Hmmm... that doesn't make sense. IDK, I just don't know. Maybe you just can't see them. They're there now though.

Edit: You can see them in the picture of the side of the case with the window on though, if you look closely.

I admit I was dubious when the gallery opened as 'Photoshoped rig' but yes,
You have earned a C.M. Award there mate,
Well done, one minor tip, flip the Psu to get the few cables on sight closer to the rear of the case, makes it a little neater but as I said, minor.
Moto

Yeah, the reason it's titled photoshoped rig is because I used photoshop in the one picture to make the picture look better. If you look closely you can see that that one picture is photoshoped and the other aren't. I did that because I used the pic for my Tom's Hardware photo so I wanted it to look a little better I guess.

I don't think you can photoshop a whole computer. If you can, then I must be really freaking good at it. All I can do is put a new back ground and other minor things. I assure you, I built this computer. Or at least I took it out of one case and put it in another which is pretty much building it from scratch.

How pathetic would that be to find some computer online and use it as my own just to post it on Tom's. Who in their right mind would do that.

What do you mean flip it? If I'd flip it, how would I be able to plug in the PSU? It wouldn't be at the back of the case. Can you put it in a different way than I have it?

Btw, I know the cable routing looks really good. Almost perfect. But I gotta give props to the Fractal Design Define R4. It made it soooo easy.

Edit: This is my first true build by myself. The initial one with the Antec 902 v3 I helped build but really I can't claim it like I can this one.
