Yea it looks quite impressive... maybe in time ill get around to liquid cooling, but for now ,im happy with fans :)
Not a bad price on the H70 .

Are you seriously still threatening people with the ban hammer? You got to be joking me dude.

Forum rules are fairly clear about off-topic posts, and the beginning of this one attempts to be clear that this thread is for pics of builds, with perhaps BRIEF commentary about them. Getting bans of initially short but increasing lengths should be expected by repeat offenders.

So your ok with a mod publicly annoucing the threat of being banned for asking a question? I thought this site was a little more professional than that

I expect that kind of stuff from mods over at a kiddie forum

Also since your a mod and along with what you said. The 1st think in the 1st post links the ToU. Which CLEARLY STATES, No threats. So tell me why he is allowed to publicly threaten someone with a ban?

This thread will die without commentary. I have post's on the first pages so don't think I haven't followed this for along time.

Here, yes. This is not a question thread. Here are the rules for this particular thread:

Case: Cooler Master Elite 130

CPU: Intel Core i5 4670k stock

GPU: MSI GTX 780 twin frozr gaming edition

PSU: Cooler Master v700 (also functions as exhaust fan)

CPU Cooler: Corsair H80i with rad at front of case for intake running in push

Motherboard: Asrock H87m-ITX

a couple ssds and a 1tb hdd along with a 3tb external

All driving a vizio 70 inch 1080p tv

And it's whisper quiet even when gaming. I've been able to max everything I've thrown at it at 1080p

Nice builds :)

I'm using a 6800K with 8GB of DDR3-2133 memory, 128GB Samsung 840 SSD and another 750GB 7200RPM HDD, all tucked inside that small case. I will eventually put a Asrock A88X+ITX board inside it with a A8-7600 to get rid of the slight fan noise it has right now.

Sadly, I can't post any pictures because I don't have a camera that does my rig justice :/

ANYWAY

--Got an AMD FX-6300 @ 4.4GHZ running on an ASUS M5A97 R2.0 and cooled by the CoolerMaster Hyper 212 EVO.
--I have 8GB (2x4GB) GSkill Ares series RAM @ 1866MHz and 2x 1TB Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM HDD, one with Win7Ult64 (for gaming) and the other ready for whatever Linux OS I plan to use for whenever I am not gaming.
--Speaking of gaming, I'm running a Sapphire 7870 2GB GHz Edition brought up to 1150 MHz. There are a couple of DVD-RWs in there that I found lying around the basement to make my piles of games on disc from the pre-Steam days useful.
--All of this is powered by a Corsair CX600 and wrapped up in the Apevia X-Sniper2 (blue) with a few blue LED fans for some extra flair. She is a beauty.
Whole thing is worth $900, according to PCPartpicker as I type, got it for $400 (I'm still surprised, tbh) with VERY close pricewatching and killer deals.

Next upgrade(s): PERIPHERALS. I have an old Dell keyboard (buckling springs, methinks), some Logitech optical mouse in beige that I picked up for $1 at a yard sale, random nameless speakers with torn paper, and some 4:3 monitor that is (I think) 15". Oh, and a broken TurtleBeach headset (new issue every day, grumble grumble). After all of that gets upgraded, I will probably add some more RAM, fans, storage space (HDDs, not SSDs, sorry speed demons) and get a water loop set up. All of this whenever I get a job.

Thanks for anyone that actually took the time to read this, and, again, sorry I don't have a camera worth a crap 😛 I do actually need ideas for a name, if anyone wants to pitch in. It looks sorta like the below pic but blue. Like Windows XP windows blue.

I picked up a new case, hopefully that I will like enough to stick with for a long time. Decided to get something that not many people have used but is a highly regarded case. This is the Rosewill R5. I am very impressed with it for $69 dollars.

It is simple looking. This is something that was important to me.

The LEDs for HDD and Power and VERY bright which is a bit annoying but it also has a single knob fan controller for up to 3 fans.

The case comes with 2x120mm fans up front and one in the rear which I removed for my closed loop.

The top cover also removes like the front and gives space for 2x120mm fans or 2x140mm fans. I have a single 140mm exhaust.

The interior of the case (mid-tower) is very roomy and has MANY cable routing holes with rubber grommets.

The back panel was very roomy and I was able to hide ALL the cables on my non-modular PSU with ease.

Overall I am very pleased with this case and all it offers for the price.

Nice, Rosewill makes a decent case. I used the Blackhawk for a personal build and have used their smaller Redbone, Blackbone, and Challenger in customer builds.

My only gripe on the Blackhawk was the tight space between the back panel and motherboard panel. Not a whole lot of room to stash wires. Other than that it would have been perfect for an aircooled/CLC cooled rig.

Look good :)

If the led's bug you and you do not mind some modding, solder a resistor inline(then cover it with shrink) to lower the current(you may have to test to see what value works best for you. 400 ohms is a good place to start).

Thanks. It is not so much that they bug when when he computer is on, but when it is asleep the power LED blinks and lights up the whole room. Yes I cover it with a sock but no the MSI BIOS does not give you an option to change the sleep LED mode.

Ok, here is Phoenix. It needs some cable management work. Specifically, the white snake is a card reader I recently added; it could be routed behind the tray. The upper right fan cable could probably be better hidden. The rear fan cable I may be able to tie better, but that would be it. Also, I could remove the upper drive cage (but then I'd need to store it somewhere). As it is, turned that way doesn't block air from the front fans. You can probably see the silicon pegs on which the rear and top fans are mounted. They do make a difference.

The case only takes a single top fan. I have no plans for a CLC cooler, since my OCs are mild. I'll post another pic when I've cleaned it up some. Further discussion though, should be in the other thread.

While I agree that RED RAM would look better, that's about the only mismatch. I'm not quite OCD enough to paint my slot covers red.
No offense taken, but I've cleaned up some of the off-topic stuff.
Oh, and (as I hoped), this got me motivated to improve the cable management. Here's the result:

The rear fan wire has no place to tie it. Pulling and rotating the fan would require picking those silicon nails out, and they're not the sturdiest thing in the world and I have no spares. I pulled the drive cage to show there's no tangle behind it, but put it back so there'd be no additional clutter on a shelf somewhere.
