jeremyp79 - Awesome rig! Why is the waterblock sideways? you have enough room for it to be normal. I have the same motherboard (GD65 not GD45 but they look close) and i hate how the PCB is brown! I haven't build the PC yet so does it look brown in person or is it just from the flash?

Didnt really realize it was upside down, my first foray into water cooling. But looking at it now, it kind of bothers me. Think I'll try to turn the radiator first though, so the hoses are at top. As for the pcb color, it looks darker without a flash , but not as dark as I would like. I wish it was black :-/
Anyone have any suggestions on how to get a cleaner look? Even after all my cable routing, it still seems a bit cluttered, could just be me I suppose though

This looks much better. Think I might install some of the Corsair fans with red rings in the case to add a bit more color. Also been thinking about going with a cooler that has LEDs. Either way, it looks pretty decent now, will be a work in progress 🙂

Edited to fix picture orientation

The board is great, overclocks well, has a great look, bios is nice and simple. As you can see, it fits with my build pretty well, and its price/color scheme is what swayed me from the Asus board I was planning on getting in the first place. MSI could have made a lifetime customer with this one, The one complaint i have about the board is the way the USB 3 header is, had to unscrew the board and lift the front edge a bit to get it plugged in without having to worry about bending pins.

Build blog: http://mitxfalcon.tumblr.com/

Specs:
-ASRock Z77E mini-ITX motherboard w/Wifi
-Intel Core i5 3570K CPU (OC to 4 GHz)
-Prolimatech Samuel PRO-SAM17 CPU cooler w/GELID slim 120mm fan (w/switched blue LED)
-PowerColor AMD 7750 1GB GDDR5 low profile video card
-8 GB Samsung low profile 1.35v DDR3 1600 RAM
-250 GB Samsung 840 SSD
-FSP 300w 80+ Bronze mini-ITX PSU
-All original lights and sounds are working and wired into the PSU, so no batteries required.

I started building this at the end of 2012 and there still isn't a better low-profile video card on the market (with nothing likely to top it until nVidia's node shrink this fall, if they even care to do so). I have stress tested the CPU in Prime95 overclocked up to 4 GHz, though it really isn't necessary so I only use it at stock settings. The GPU runs stable in FurMark at about 70 degrees. I originally wanted to use a closed-loop liquid cooler but the hoses proved too cumbersome so I got the Samuel, which fits perfectly:

It was a labor of love, but it's purpose is to make a name for myself as a custom PC builder, so it is for sale. I love building computers and hope to be able to do so full time some day.

lowguppy - I just had a nerdgasm! That is amazing Someone give this man a medal! Good Job! Graphics card isnt great but you can find some other low profiles by MSI. Kind of pricy (I checked to see how much you were selling it for) judging by the specs but its in a Millennium Falcon so...and its custom, might be worth it 😉 Awesome rig man.

PS: That Smug face 😉

This is my rig, I haven't really come up with a name to it but its really dark colored so I guess its easy to come up with a name, I feel like I am literally the worst cable manager in the world, I'm so OCD that I pretty much open the comp up and work with it for about 2 hours with no results, what I mean is the huge bulk of cables from my non modular PSU, nothing went wrong when I build it but things could have been done far better like getting a modular PSU and installing the aftermarket heat sink (took me too long and I felt like a crapped my CPU but somehow I didn't), until this day I don't know how this thing even works since I didn't really feel like I was doing things right, anyways enough rambling here is the pic:

theawolwarrior - That black is nice! But you should get a black and white PSU but naa, yours is nice and expensive so you dont want to lose it. WHAT I DO SUGGEST is you getting a corsair H100i. Make the LED on it white. And Boom. 😀 And PLEASE put your specs. Its part of the rules. :)

PS: You could mod a bit if you wanted. Get like 2 metal squares, make them perpendicular and and it in the shape of HALF a PSU so like right side and Up only, and make holes an screw it over all those cables down there as a home but its up to you.

Yes yes, I'm very open to update its just that I had only $1300 to spend and since this case didn't have a window I didn't really do much modding since I wouldn't see anything 99% of the time, but yes I was thinking about getting a new PSU and defiantly an H100i, just looking at all the amazing builds being put in this threads sparks some amazing ideas and possibilities, oh and here are all the specs:

Thank you, and yea now that I think about it I researched alot on every part except for the PSU and look where that got me heh

Hi guys!

This is my build that i've put together a week ago. It was built for playing BF3 & BF4. Cable tidying is adequate i guess, didn't spend too much time on cable routing and tidying. Seems like the case still has enough space for the air flow though. I like the Corsairs 300R case, only thing that i found bothering me about it was opened top and side panel having opened fan mounts. So i went little macgyver on it. Sort of speak lol. I hope its visible enough from the photos. I've tied the sound damping foam under the top fan opening and taped some non sound damping foam on the left side panel.
The system is not overclocked, but will do it eventually.

Mongoose135, that's a lot like Gypsy:
The mobo is an ASRock Z77E-ITX. I haven't replace the PSU yet, because c.hegge did a technical review of it on HardwareInsights and it did pretty well. I haven't done a whole lot with it yet though. By using a pair of 2.5" drives in a 3.5" adapter, I left myself some extra space to stuff cables. There is also a 256GB mSATA SSD on the underside of the mobo, so it has plenty of drive space, even with the optical drive still present.

Here is my somewhat budget workstation, running cool but loudsy =))

Onus - That looks like the same case I use, BP655. If so then you don't want to put a dGPU in that low profile slot (that is what it looks like), there is no vent on that side of the case and it cause's some big heat issues around the card. It's more for a TV-tuner or other expansion card that doesn't require active cooling.
