waiting for 2 Noctua NF-F12PWM to arrive tomorrow to replace the stock h100i fans as they are very noisy under load.
i will be fitting another gtx 770 in the near future an go for sli.
at the moment i'm running 4.7mhz stable on the 8350 at 1.4625 V and temps are 54~55c core and 60c socket under load, at room temperature.
so i think a can still push-it a bit more if the noctua fans can an least reduce the core temps under 50c.
i still have to play a bit with the h100 fans as they are blowing air in to the case and i'll try the other way around to see if it makes a big difference in temps.

so i'll leave a few pics:

After installing my Sapphire R290X with a XSPC water block

So I ended up changing to the EVGA Hadron Air. Took a LONG time to get everything setup, but it's worth it!

I spent about 4 hours getting the cables all fixed up, had to cut a bunch down since I decided to use custom white sleeved extensions.

Rig Setup:
Core i5-4670k @ 4.2GHz
GTX 760 HAWK @1350MHz
8GB ADATA XPG V2.0 @ 1600 CAS9
128GB Samsung 840 Pro
1TB Seagate HDD
160GB Seagate HDD
Panasonic Slot-load DVD/CD writer/reader
EVGA Mini-ITX cooler
Gigabyte Z87N-Wifi board
Custom White Sleeved Cabling
And I have my fans setup currently as intakes, because the Cougar's I bought are too thick, and the 24-pin connector rubs the blades when flipped the other way lol Just ordered some Gelid Slims and will see what kind of temps I get. I've been pretty lucky so far with the power supply, it's been pretty dang quiet - at least during idle/general computing lol it gets pretty dang loud at load, but I'm gaming with headphones so I can't hear it :)

I love seeing computers that people put a lot of time and effort into. Great looking rigs folks, just want to share mine as well:

This is my first high-end build and I'm really proud of it, I've learned a lot from this site. I know there are a lot of better builds out there but for now this is the best that I can do and afford. I'm sure there are opportunities to upgrade with what I have but it have to wait until I can afford it. Hope you guys like it, I don't want to bore you folks with all the parts as you can see from the part picker list. Sorry for the poor picture quality, my camera took a dump while doing my build so all pix were taken from my phone.

Spent lots of time research and come up with a design and modify the case, color scheme and the lighting system. I want a clean and elegant look for the rig and I think I’m happy with what I have done.
Already have a few people want to buy this rig but I'm not sure if I want to let it go. I created the black hole on the lower right panel to give it a unique look, if you need help on this, I will try to. Mainly using this rig for work, Photoshop, video editing/encoding movies and some games.

Overclocked CPU to 4.7 GHz with 1.32v but I backed it down to 4.3 GHz for the longevity, I don't need that high right now. The dual SLI GTX 760 worked for me but I may upgrade to GTX 780 ti once I can afford it and maybe custom water loop.

First of all I didn't build this system my self. I had it build by a company, because my parents thought I was to young to build one (thanks parents). But anyway, two days ago i got the giant package and i most say they did a really nice job off building it. First of all the package was really nice. Bubble wrap everywere. Even in the system. So the system got here in one piece.

BTW sorry for the bad pictures. Took them with my smartphone.

System specs:
CPU: AMD FX-8320 (overclocked to 4.3 GHz)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master 212 evo
Motherboard: Asus m5a97 evo r2.0
Graphics card: MSI Nvidia GTX 760
Power supply: XFX Pro Series 550W Core Edition
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB
SSD: Kingston SSDNow V300 60gb (Bad choise, no space left)
Memory: Kingston HyperX Genesis 8gb
Case: Corsair 300r
DVD Writer: Lite-On iHAS124
Fans: 2x Sharkoon System Fan 140mm (cheap, but good enough for me)
Wireless Card: TP-Link TL-WN881ND

As for cooling I have those two extra case fans. First I had one of the two extra fans on the left side as an intake and the other one at the front, but it was horrible. It didn't cool the gpu any better than normal and I couldn't overclock the cpu at all. So I put both extra case fans at the front, the pre-installed fan from Corsair on the top and i removed the included rear-fan from Corsair and put that on the cpu cooler and now I have excellent cooling.

Graphics card: Furmark 15 min. : max. 76* C
CPU (overclocked): Prime95 15 min. : max. 61* C

In gaming the tempatures are even less with the graphics card being around 55* C and the cpu around 50* C.

So let me know what you think of it. This is by the way the first computer were I chose the parts my self.

Seems good to me.

You may wish to torn off hibernation if you have not already and shrink the page file to free up some SSD room.

Turn of hibernation

Hit Start and type cmd
Hold control + shift and hit enter to run command prompt as an admin(or right click and select run as administrator).
in the command prompt window type "powercfg -h off" without the ""'s
This normally free's up about as much space as you have memory.

Please note this disables the fast startup feature of Windows 8, but will not be an issue for SSD users.

To reduce the page file.
hit start and type "advanced system" you should see an option called view advanced system settings, select it.
On the Advanced tab(should be on this tab already) select settings under Performance.
Select the Advanced tab on the performance options window
Select Change under Virtual memory
Set a new size. I personally use 4gigabytes(4096 megabytes) as my custom min/max without any issues.

Some users disable this, but I do not generally recommend it.

Please PM or start a thread if you have more questions as this is a picture thread :)

*Now updated fewer pictures - See full post here*

The goal of the build was to create a completely quiet windows-pc that could function as htpc, download server and web surfing machine. Both the downloading and htpc movies will be stored on a 20TB LAN Synology DS1812+, so there's no need for much local storage.

I figured the best way to make it quiet, was to remove all moving parts and the wall mounted concept was a great idea for letting it "breath". Because without a fan it relies quite heavily on convection.
Primary inspiration from here and here

Parts-list:
ASRock H81M-ITX
Intel Core i3 4130T @ 2,9GHz (Still considering to underclock it)
w/ Scythe Ninja 3 Rev. B
Corsair Vengeance 2x4GB DDR3
Sapphire HD 7750 Ultimate 1GB GDDR5
OCZ Agility 3 60GB
Seasonic Platinum-series 460w
Mixed buttons, switches and temp-monitors
Leftover kitchen counter top

And this is how it turned out 😀
front-right.jpg

And with the light turned on
front-light2.jpg

temp.jpg

The temp monitor is attached to the copper heat pipes and generally shows 7C lower than the internal sensors.
The three buttons are Pwr On (large round), Reset (small round) and Light on/off (flip-switch)

And this is how it fits into our living room
workspace.jpg

Tempratures
It has been "tested" with AOE III (on high settings) for 2 hours in ambient 23C and the internal temp monitor showed the GPU at close to 80C and the CPU around 60C, which is reasonable in my book. Idle temps are GPU 35C and CPU 45C.

Looks good.

Your temps are quite good for a fanless system.
