It is. Kinda funny how there's more power in that one little gpu, than in 3x gpus from just a few years ago. Definitely seems like the days of the big full towers are over. Prolly not going to be long before full custom loops in a mITX case will be popular.

Absolutely!

Thanks guys!!! Yeah, running around town looking for pink PC parts is a daunting task, especially explaining that it is not for me LOL.

Bottle ingredient is a combination of pink highlighter ink, paint, and... a dog-shampoo :)

Hah! That's case modding for ya. Thinking outside the box. My gpu support is actually the slide ruler that comes attached to many circular saws, just unbent and painted. Works so much better than the original that came with the case. True case mods are getting very rare, most just take a case and add some lights and the components, stuck with what the case specifies. Says who? I love to see ppl thinking outside the box and doing stuff like painting dog shampoo bottles, it that personal touch that really makes their pc's unique and special.

I'm pretty stoked with how this build is looking so far and I have to share it. I still have to work on cable management, buy a monitor, paint the case, figure out all the lighting software, mount my LED strips, mount the DVD player you see hanging out below, and more.

That's pretty ingenious. It's looking good and is definitely original. The only problem I see with it though is that all of the fans are all on one side of the enclosure so you have an area of dead airflow on the left side of the enclosure. Doesn't seem as though you'll be getting any cool airflow to over the area of the motherboard for cooling off the VRM heatsinks, the graphics cards to supply their coolers with fresh air and other components.

Are those front fans in the swing door intake or exhaust? Are the cooling fans on the upstairs radiator configured for intake or exhaust? Are there any other fans that are not really visible in the images?

Ty for the awesome reply!

I hadn't considered ventilation as much as I suppose I should have. I was hoping the sheer volume of open air would make a big difference. With the two side fans, two top mounted cpu kraken fans, and 3 intermittent fans on each of the two video cards; I was hoping there would be enough disturbance to avoid any dead spots. The two side fans are intake and the two top fans are exhaust.

The two side fans aren't a part of the swing door. That pic was just in a state of disassembly. I did, however, get the glass door tinted with one-way mirror film. When the PC is off, it looks just like a mirror you can't see inside. When the PC is on, it becomes one-way visible and adds to the infinity effect.

I think if you added one additional fan right above the motherboard directly in line with the CPU, you could forget there being any chance of a dead spot. That would also give you three exhaust vs your two intakes, which gives you a slight negative pressure situation that makes life easier on your two intakes and tends to be the better of all the potential cooling scenarios when it comes to overall cooling performance.

Negative pressure does tend to have slightly more issues when it comes to dust however, so you might want to consider designing some filtration into your setup for the intake fans. Might even be able to source an existing front case filter from one of the leading manufacturers that would easily be adapted to the inside of the cabinet. Possibly from a full tower case since those are spread apart somewhat. They also sell the same filter material in sheets.

Either way, I really like the idea. I've thought about converting one of those cabinet style floor model stereos from the 60's and 70's into a powerful media center for the living room but I never seem to have time to get the projects already in progress done much less take on something like that. Sooner or later I'll probably find something I just can't live without converting into a distinctly unique case mod though so I'm not in that big of a rush anyhow. Either way, thanks for sharing.

so previous build and after getting a new case for my father's day (yes I dont move fast, lol)
I finally moved into NXT case and upgraded to I7-4790kcpu and 240mm Enermax cooler.
Yes the flow is from top/back to front. because nxt isn't the best at fitting a thick 240mm radiator.
also ssd for os , ssd for Games and 1tb (under covered desk with power supply. for storage)
