Two tiny screws :)

Well the wires are too short for the cold cathodes to route any better than this.

actually when i had my rig running with a uv cathode i forced a switch into the expansion slots - tiny lil switch which was concealed by the other hardware. was able to run the wiring under the mobo as well. Though you should be careful with the switch - you might end up taking the switch off the solder points.

Non-the-less, nice 1st gen rig you got there.

* I just got meself a Mushkin ridgeback 996991 kit for my RE x48. when i have my WC up and running - will post new pics.

I may tinker with it later and see what I can come up with. I need to fix the mess on the backside of the case, only so many wires can fit behide there comfortably lol.

I've got a roll of that tape, tried it and seems to work well but any movement of the PSU cables and it releases. Maybe a bit of heat from a hairdryer would do the trick ;p

can hold up to 2lbs and is perfect for making a window mod lol and now its also perfect at holding cables in place XD
yeap - true. Reminded me of a series of vids posted by mnpctech about modding your rig. i think i still have them vids of cablemanagement on a Lian-li case and doing a window mod.

just saw your pic, not bad... 😉

right on, good eye.

it's ASUS but you're still correct to me..

it's in single channel mode.
is this your motherboard.?

No that's not mine. This is mine --> http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Intel_Socket_1155/P8Z68V_LE/

I will take the advice and move the RAM over. I also had to get a new PSU and will have the inside better managed in the picture I will be putting up most likely in the morning.

@ thorox - i use that tape as well - and it has my xbox wireless receiver in place in-spite of all the cable tugging/tucking or drop $5 and get the heavy duty 3M tape or 3M's 4929 Very High Bond Tape

Yeah I'm going to figure something out. I have alot of options far as my build is concerned. Tax returns soon :) I may just buy a nicer case and mod this one and give it to my brother. Then again.. why do so when my case works perfect right now lol.. The only reason for moving to a nicer case would be for water cooling or just looks.

Nope, duct tape is,
closely followed by fabric electrical tape 😛

Thorox, figure out the spacing on the switch and either dremel or drill the space between holes for the switch to move through here (Where the red box is, you can figure the 'best' placing ofc

may need a paper/nylon washer to hold the screw tightly enough, but if you trim it nice, you'll just see the switch through the side of the cage.

@Hacker907

awesome rig . it would look much better if the hard drives were the other way round so the cables go to the back. isnt the top card really hot since its so close.
