i thought EquineHero missed my first one cazz he never updated his list with my new score

5.2GHz you got to like that nice job

Hi all,
Minor update of total result with small decrease in one core performance:

s-l1600.jpg

Changes:
- CL10 instead of CL13 on memory
- 104 mhz on blck instead of 104.5 [due to nvme driver which simply does not work correctly over 104]
- cpu undervolting which gives better ratio on all cores (35x instead of 33-34x)

So it took going to 4x8 ram in order for me to figure out the 2700x overclocking. I cleared cmos and started much simpler just OC on bclk and multipler, 103.4 and 41.75 volts 1.41 soc 1.15. Ram is at 3333MHz 14-14-14-30 @1.45. Sniper x rated at 3400. I could get the ram to 3533 at the same timings with 2 dimms, 4 took awhile to find the right speed with the cl14 timings. I left the other settings on Auto that I originally was messing with. Apparently a Crosshair Vii/2700x combo can figure out the rest and give better OC's.

Sorry for not posting for a while, been super busy with real life. These dragons are really bothersome.

Table has been updated, although I may have accidentally deleted some valid entries. Lemme know if you think yours is missing.

@Eximo I find it funny that my 4790K is still invincible to 7700Ks. It's almost like there was no IPC improvement in Kaby- and Skylake since Haswell. I mean Haswell is just improved 22nm Ivy Bridge.

@Xeon_fan

Give these timings a try. They are stable for up to 2133mhz.

@Jankerson Intel just slapped 4 extra cores on an Ivy Bridge CPU, 9900K is a waste IMO. AMD would probably have the better 8-core performance...I mean look at the table once I update it lol

@markuaw1 please don't spam

@sr13798 Try smaller DIMMS, 4GB each if you can, the less addressable space you have the less the CPU needs to be aware of, increasing performance a little. I'd run 8x 4gb sticks in my rig if they fit, but I have to settle for 8Gb per channel at 32gb total, 4x4gb and 2x 8gb quad channel

@CompuTronix please resubmit your image, it's too small and I can't read some of the CPU-Z info

My 9900K score should be in 3rd place with 20,706.

And sr1379's 2700X score should be in 5th with 20,001

Not 6th and 7th....

My bad, long day. No coffee or energy drinks, haven't had a chance to grab one. Just sat down at my desk at home and checked Tom's. I had 10 PMs, is this what it's like t o be popular?

Table will be u[strike]pdated[/strike] fixed shortly.
