I have microscope from my sisters husband but that requires me really thin copper wire and probing the hell out of it, but bad thing is im moving to Germany in couple of weeks to earn money, trust me its not soo hard, patience and first try. This is like 5th or 6th try to fix motherboard, from bad capacitors, to unknown damage to them. Also on ebay you can find boardview, pratically PDF file with all connections from this trace to that, cheapish as 10$.
Also to add, bios flashback is dead on this motherboard since 1st heating up, everything else works, as keybot, memtest, soundstage, every ram slot etc.
I am probably, the weirdest guy on this forum...

Here are results of BLCK OC of 107.0 , couldn't go higher.

It's only 4 points, I have the traces worked, but not the tools or patience. Also I don't like AMD, never have. I grew up with a Pentium 2 HP PC.

Also, your pentium score worse than Core 2 Quad Q9400 stock... Use ThrottleStop to force all-core Turbo and change VID.

Youre missing passmark https://www.passmark.com/ftp/petst.exe , and CPU-Z screenshot (both at same time), read...

Hmmm, same score as my E3 1240 at 106.1, but slightly better, due to memory frequency. We know Passmark is memory sensitive. I ran mine at 16xxMhz, you have 2133 because Sandy Bridge does not support XMP. I also was an idiot at that point in time and knew nothing about overclocking RAM. Funny, I got BCLK at stock voltage, I probably could have gotten higher with higher voltage, but never changed voltage to try. Silly, if I could go back and re-do, I would, but Z77 OC Formula motherboard cost me $300US and E3 1240 cost me $95 US :pt1cable:

Maybe, but pointless in practicality. Maybe only for chart, waste of money for gaming.

wot?

Here's mine last submission for G3220 107.0 Again, ram running at close to 2000MHz (used 1600 kit, not 1866, too lazy to swap out).
No matter what voltage i set on chipset or input, it wont go higher.

Equine where did my Q6600 on last page updated score go 🙁

It's between my Q9400 and The Paladin's Q9400

Also, try 1.4v and lower memory freq to 1866 at 1.65 to 1.7v, CL11 timing 11-11-11-28-2T

A high BCLK can make RAM weird and make the system not boot. Try 2T.

Have you tried 1.4v? Try raising VTT and PLL as well.

Now my threadripper 2950X with the required CPU-z, I will add a direct water cooling, for sure beeing able to reach 30.000+

I'll add it to the table later, been in bed all day sleeping. Yesterday was WILD.

Man, I must have poor bin, won't do 4.8 🙁 But 4.7Ghz all cores on E5 1650 V2, 1.45v, running stable as a horse 😀

I need to change my RAM back to 2133/2400 to get 17,000 points. Running 32GB 1600MHz, 11-11-11-28 1T right now, good latency and command rate, bad frequency. 1600MHz, bleh :barf:

This CPU was only $110 as well, matches 8700K in some places. Just shows Intel has no IPC improvements at the high end product segment, the only real improvements are i3 quad core and i5 hex core.

Please follow the guidelines to post in this thread (pg. 1 of thread), or don't post at all.

Watching a YT video of another test provides no means for comparison.

32 cores of AMD Opteron and only scored 11k points. My 6-core Xeon X5650 from 2010 STILL outperforms that. Fastest on the website? LOL. Not even close, both of my personal machines are faster and the number one spot is held by a 2950X.

Makes me wonder how much he paid for those Opterons only to discover he'd be better off with $100 Xeon.

Do you mean "That" Opteron? The "Ehm" from FX series?

If you mean the 6200 series, then yes.

He's also running 5 series Radeon HD in quad corssfire. Passmark does not use more than one GPU.

The guidelines for this thread are clearly stated on the first page of the thread. Comply or move along. Posting a YT video doesn't cut it.

We have standards and we enforce them. This is how we maintain civil discourse and learn/help each other. Fanboyism is not tolerated....AT ALL. Be careful before making such statements again.

His score was already posted and is in the table.

Because you need to follow the rules of the thread or your post will be removed and your score will not be added to the table.

That's a lie considering you were extremely enthusiastic about it in all 4 videos you posted to your YouTube channel.

"Hey guys!"

My 6 core Xeon X5650 from 2010 gets a higher Passmark score than your 32 cores of Opteron, and my 2012 Xeon E5 1650 v2 gets 5000 more points than your 32 cores of Opteron as well.

Passmark also only uses one GPU, quad HD 5870 won't get you a higher score, especially since it's running in PCIe 1.1.

I've shown 8 year old technology and it outperforms your 7 year tech with 26 fewer cores. Your point is invalid.

Considering one of the rules of the thread is "no fanboying", none of us are being fanboys of anything.

Come back when you've done some research and learned some manners.

Technically it's within the rules specified in post #1. Discussion was just getting a little heated.

14. Discussion about CPUs and related problems are okay, but if you need help please make a separate thread. This is not a Reddit Q&A megathread.

Just like in the Superposition thread a year or so back we talked about power supplies and how clean power affects GPU performance. There was like 3 whole pages of that.
