Is there any way I can get the exact sensitivity (DPi and anything else relating) from my old mouse and somehow make my new mouse exactly the same? As soon as I plugged in my new mouse it was automatically slower then my old one. My new mouse is a ZOWIE FK2 and my old one was a Microsoft Basic Optical Mouse 1.0a. I am 99% sure my DPi is the same as my old mouse (400 DPi) because i'm able to switch it to 400 with a little button under my mouse which then changes a light under mouse my mouse correlating to a certain DPi. I'm able to know my old mouse' DPi because of this: http://i.gyazo.com/3adfce64ce52b43efbed9b62d542dfc7.png, link is to a PDF screenshot of my old mouse' specifications.

**EDIT** I just found out PPI and DPI are two different things. Any way I can get the exact DPi from my old mouse' PPI (400)?

For mice it is the same, companies just used what the customer can easily understand, so they ook terms from printers and monitors, correct torm for DPI is actually CPI, meaning Counts per Inch.

I see. But would there be a reason why one of two mice would be slower right when plugging it in even though they have the same DPI/CPI?

CPI are rarely accurate, one major Brand(wont tell which one) for example has a margin of up to 5% in that regard due to tolerances that can not be avoided in a mass product. So basically one can be 420cpi, while another is 380cpi, and both would be advertised as 400cpi.

Well fook me. I guess it's that both mice CPI greatly differ. It's just the difference betweem the two mice is SO huge. I've found something called mouse sensitivity exporter, but havn't had the time to tinker with it so I still may have a way to get an accurate way to get my old mouse' CPI to then mimic it to my new mouse.

Easiest way to do it is to use a ruler.
