these are few simple steps to increase fps.works only for mid and low end gaming pc.

1. add 2gb ram if your ram is not more than 6gb.(note:a game uses maximum of 8gb till now.)+3fps

2.download gamebooster 3.0 torrent.+2fps

3.overclock ur graphic card to about 8 to 10 %.+3fps

4. if u have a mid low end graphic card then decrease the shadow quality to medium or low settings .+3fps

ALL THE STEPS WORK
I EARLIER HAD 4GB RAM AND I NOW HAVE 6GB RAM AND I SEE 3 FPS INCREASE IN EVERY GAME

GAME BOOSTER CLOSES APPS YOU DONOT NEED AND CREATES AND ENVIRONMENT FOR GAMING BY TAKING OFF LOAD FROM CPU AND RAM.
THUS UR GAME FPS INCREASES 2FPS

The problem here is that you stated it to be for 'every game', like viper said. I'm afraid that you don't understand what RAM actually does; it allows your computer to work multiple processes at once with more efficiency. This means that it will only 'improve' fps if your computer's RAM wasn't high enough to fully support the game before. For example, running a game that has quite simple graphics (so it doesn't use require too many processes to be run) would have the same fps whether on say 4gb or 8 gb, as the game has already capped its fps.
Also, Gamebooster works very much like RAM, except it stops services and programs that it deems 'unnecessary' in order to free up more memory for the game to run. Therefore, again, it doesn't increase the fps for 'every game'.
In the end, viper was correct but s/he could've worded it in a more useful way.

more ram is useful as can help in game recording with good fps .
game booster actually removes load from cpu and ram so that they
dedicate their performance on games and not the useless processes.

u must try it then only u will believe

1. 90 percent of games for Windows are capped at 2GB of memory for the application. The tiny amount that are large address aware, are usually 32bit and cap at 4GB of memory.
- Increasing RAM from 4GB to 6GB would therefore only occasionally improve FPS. Increasing by 2GB after 6GB is very unlikely to do anything.

2. Killing background apps only helps if you're very memory and CPU constrained. This would be more likely to help users with older dual core CPUs. Users with good systems with lots of RAM and powerful modern processors, probably won't see any difference whatsoever.

3. Obviously overclocking the GPU will improve performance, if you can do so keeping stability. Sometimes it's not as simple as just sliding a bar over 8%, and you may need to get more involved with making sure the GPU has enough vcore and cooling.

4. Of course lowering settings improves FPS. That's not very informative.

Why isn't this post on the Tom's Hardware news?!?!?! I mean, Buying more hardware and overclocking your graphics card can improve your fps by up to 5??? That's insane! I must test this immediately!

enjoy man XD
