[SOLVED] Trouble Accessing my router settings.

Router model - SR516ac
I'm trying to access the router settings for my SMART/RG router. I have tried entering the default gateway, and the ipv4 address provided in command prompt after typing ipconfig. I enter them in the browser(chrome) address bar and it fails to connect to anything. I have also set up a static ip address within the range of my router and i have internet connection. Still no dice. Just wondering if perhaps someone had another idea for me to try. Thanks in advance

edit: i have also tried the 192.168.1.1, and the 192.168.1.1/admin

I would try resetting it with a paperclip or similar into the small hole on the back.

Note default IP address (192.168.42.1).
