Hello.
Today I bought a new motherboard, works just fine, except no network driver will install.... I spent so many hours today none of them want to install. There aren't any exclamation marks in the device manager, if i run the trouble shooter for network, it says no network driver installed.

Can I please get some help, I need my computer to work on Monday.

The ethernet cable is working, worked on previous motherboard aswell.
Changed to make sure, nothing.
The drivers you posted are things that I already gave a shot
Oh your Ethernet port is disabled in bios it looks like or for some reason windows put the Ethernet port to sleep/off on its end... I would check if it on in the bios first since it's doing it to the new mobo not the old one

Hey, I tried looking in the bios, theres only one Realtek/LAN setting and its enabled, anything in particular i need to be looking?

Or buy a PCIe network adapter or something, i've read quite a few posts of people "solving" this that way
Not isn't a solution to main problem though that's a work around if you can't fix it some people probably aren't bothering to do extra work to properly fix their system.... If you can use it normally then why not try.... Instead of adding more to what's there...

I wasn't meaning you had to use windows 10. I realize the way I worded that was terrible... There is not promise that even windows 10 will work properly without the bios update aswell

Some motherboards do work out the gate but need their bios reflashed straight from the manufacturer because their systems malfunctioned on certain parts... So a simple bios reflash will solve everything

See even then you may not have done everything the way the wanted...
Not saying you didn't but did you read the instruction for install and follow step by step.... Some bios updates require a rename to work properly.... Some require you to install certain updates in specific order for the latest drivers to work right.....

If you did all this I would try to reinstall your bios one more time if this doesn't work there is a problem with the mobo

I just tried Ubuntu, and Windows 10.
Tried two different bios versions.
It really looks like the ethernet port just doesnt work...
