I didn't even notice. I like the vibe it gives, in combination with the sunglasses - like ninjas, or special ops. Which, if you think about it, makes a certain amount of sense (okay, not the sunglasses part), since they're sneaking around at night and entering people's homes.

Following the links at the top of the article, it appears they just reused the graphic from 2020 and 2021. Hopefully, they'll change it for next year.

My first thought was that yours seems better, but I think they meant "tests" to rhyme with "best".

The rhyming scheme matches pairs of adjacent lines, like the original (published 199 years ago!). You can see it here:
