Question Two Monitor Issue

Hello I recently added a second monitor well its a 55" TV but wanted to use it as a second monitor

TV is using HDMI
Main monitor is DisplayPort

when I set the displays to extended the the screens flicker and the TV will outright lose connection and reconnect, sometimes its fine for a bit and sometimes its bad and wont stay connected

If I set them to duplicate there is zero issues and the TV stays connected 100%

any thought or suggestions?

PC is using
Vega 56
Ryzen 5 3600
16GB of RAM

ASUS ROG Strix B450-I


Sabrent 2TB NVME Gen 3 50% full

nothing other then Keyboard and mouse and 3.5mm speakers

TV = Samsung UN55NU8000

Monitor = Asus MG28UQ

3840x2160

PSU is a Corsair RM850x purchased last year

maybe was an issue with the HDMI port on the GPU, I bough a HDMI to display port converter and I have no issues now
