Greetings -
Just installed a GT430 (the EVGA dual DVI version).
Only one monitor currently attached.
At 'idle' (i.e. - not gaming or watching a movie), CPUID HW Monitor indicates the temp in the mid-to-high 50's (54-57°C as I type this), with the fan at 65%.
In comparison, the System temp is 37°C, and the CPU (a Phenom II X6 1090T) is 35°C.
Ambient temp is, oh, 75-80°F.
Bottom line -- the GT430 temps strike me as high.
I'd welcome knowing what's typical, and whether I may have a faulty card.
Thanks kindly,
- Richard
