Question unable to change rgb on my corsair vengeance rgb rs

specs:
AMD Ryzen 5 5500
MSI B450M-A PRO MAX
Corsair Vengeance RGB RS 2x16 Gb (32gb) DDR4 3200 MHz CL16
Sapphire PULSE Radeon RX 6600 8GB
Crucial P3 1Tb Gen3 NVMe

A few days ago i noticed my ram's rgb was out of sync but when i tried to rectify it in icue i couldn't no matter what i did, i tried different presets with no luck, i reinstalled icue multiple times same thing they just stay on the default preset, i reseated the ram swaped the slots put only one in with no luck, i resetted the bios (took out the battery for a few seconds) nothing changed, totay i reinstalled windows 11 STILL NO LUCK!
i don't even know what to do anymore, got any suggestions?

also they used to work just fine and i haven't changed anything on my pc for months last thing i did was install a 2nd stick of ram and yes they worked just fine before.

make sure there is no MSI control software running in the background with it's own LED presets.

i've had Armory Crate/Aura Creator interfere with 3rd party LED controls before.

I reinstalled windows and i haven't installed anything msi related but i did check task manager and there's nothing MSI related.
