I recently purchased a Fatal1ty X470 Gaming K4 and updated the bios to the latest version on the motherboard support page(https://www.asrock.com/MB/AMD/Fatal1ty X470 Gaming K4/index.asp#BIOS ) and also installed other drivers available there. I installed the realtek high definition audio driver, however, I do not see it when I open device manager under the sounds, video and audio controller. The only thing I see there is High Definition Audio. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling realtek multiple times, yet no luck. Is it an issue with the mobo? I have a BenQ - ZOWIE through which I have audio, however I cannot figure out why I cannot get realtek to appear on the device manager and use the audio ports on the mobo.

In their FAQ :
In general, the system will auto-download the APP in background after installing Realtek Audio driver.
Please type "Realtek Audio Console” in Win10 search bar to access APP. *** This does not happen for me
If the APP doesn't show up on your system, please follow the steps below to install it manually.
1.Go to the device manager to check if the Reaktek Audio driver is installed.
* Realtek Audio driver could be installed / downloaded from support CD and ASRock official website: www.ASRock.com. *** This does not work for me either.
2.Please refer to the following link to access "Realtek Audio Control” on Microsoft Store and click "Get” to start downloading.

Won't I need step 1 to work before getting to step2?

Turns out it was a faulty audio codec on the mobo. My retailer was able to confirm that. Will get it replaced from them since they had a 15 day return policy with the store.
