hey so my new pc which has been played on for around 100 hours so far shutdown unexpectedly during a game and rebooted without errors immediately and ran fine after.

i checked the event log and was shown the following

critical
41 kernal power
error
513 cap12
6008 event log system
10016 distributedCOM

now during game my cpu temps never go above 60. im using a hi1000 psu. No errors codes are displayed on my mother baord and temps continue to remain good and i can even continue gaming afterwards without issue.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what is going on here? I figured a loose connection or somthing would show some kind of error code somewhere. All drivers are up to date. Software issue?

running windows 10.

Thanks guys

i have ran the benchmark tool in wildlands without issues. I dont think there are any loose cables inside. It has only happened 2 times in the past 100 hours of gaming so i figured if its a loose cord it would be more frequent.

Ok so I checked connections this morning and all were good. I've done a lot of reading and im thinking it might be a driver issue. Ive read a lot about having multiple audio drivers might cause it. Ill be checking after work. I still find it strange that its not a frequent event. It makes it really hard to guess the issue. I have played 52 hours of the division max setting 4k with no issues. I've played close to 50 hours of wildlands and this has only happened twice on this game. Once a couple weeks ago during the loading screen and once last night. ill just have to check the drivers and wait and see. darn pc issues.

My last question is can these events be damaging or just a nuisance? My pc ran fine after the event for another hour and a half of gaming before I got tired. Boot up this morning also had no issues. Event log was showing some issue with intel integrated graphics drivers so maybe that might contribute?

So i ran 2 hours of Aida64, 20 passes on intel burntest and an hour of prime95 just to test if it could be a hardware issue. All tests were good temps highest was 61'c. This is not a oc'dd system so i didnt bother running prime for hours on end. All i can think of was a power spike/dip from the wall or a driver issue.

what do you guys think?
