Hi,

I triedto uninstall rollup 1 for windows 2000 sp4 and now the server boots
to this blue screen
*** STOP: 0X000000C2 0C00000040, 0X0000000, 0X80000000, 0X0000000)
BAD_POLL_CALLER

I was following Article ID:891861

3.Remove the full path of the Userinit.exe entry. To do this, follow these
steps: a. Locate and then click the following registry subkey:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\Current Version\Winlogon
b. Right-click the Userinit entry, and then replace the REG_SZ value of
C:\WINNT\system32 with a REG_SZ value of userinit.exe.

4.Click Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel, and then click Change/Remove
for Update Rollup 1 for Windows 2000 SP4 to uninstall the update.

Please please help me..

Thanks

Don

Hi Don,
Boot to the recovery console. Go to c:\winnt\system32\drivers and rename
mountmgr.sys to mountmgr.old. Go to cdrom<driveletter>:\1386\. Type expand
mountmgr.sy_ c:\winnt\system32\drivers. Try to boot up now. In case it errors
out about the virtual memory being low, connect the network registry and
follow step 3 of your post.
