Has anyone been keeping up with the development of these games? They look awesome.
I just found out there's per-poly collision detection in the engine, which means you can shoot someone in the wrist and blow their hand off. Headshots were cool in UT, but it's nice to see that'll be extended in the sequel(s).
There's also a feature to easily re-generate effects such as fire, fog and breaking glass in the Unreal Editor, which'll make user-created levels closer to the in-game levels in terms of graphics complexity.
The AI is supposed to be dramatically improved in almost every way, but details on that are sketchy.
Anyone else have any info?
