Well, I guess it might be good to have some more members. Also, we would need to select a server to play on. I don't think anyone would want to front the money for a hosted server of our own.

Why how much are you talking. I been thinking of hosting games, and understand you can have someone els host it for you. Out side of that I don't know very much about it, but have been looking into it.

To host a gmae server at your house you need a connection with big pipes. Someone was saying that a buisness dsl connection would do it. If we can get enough people, say eight or so, I would dedicate a server and the members of the clan can chip in for the cost of the connection. I checked the price and it would be about 7.00 per month per person (with eight people). We could practice in our own server and then go out like a pack of wolves and put some real fear into the unreal world.
BTW what are your Unreal names? Maybe we could hook up and play together for the time being in a hosted server.

Hmm 7x8 =$56 that's cheaper then what I pay for my DSL. What will the phone com. do, run a line, and only charge you for the DSL, and not for a phone service also.

Also, If you were to dedicate a server, don't you have to have two pretty high speed computers, video card and all?

And what about those places that host for you, don't they cut it.

Right now I'm using the name 101. And usually play in the evening on capture the flag, on a dedicated Facing worlds boards.

The price for dsl Is actually about 90.00$ I just figured whoever had the connection would pay about 40%. There are servers out there that will host the game for you. The price per month depends on how many max palyers there can be at a time.

My favorite game is CTF too. I usually play on low grav instagib servers with smaller maps (facing world size). My name is Grub.
