Hi there people of Toms Hardware.
I recently brought a new computer, about half a year ago or something, but things havnt been easy. When i play battlefield 3, i can only play for about 5-10 minutes (or less), and then the game crashes i addition with skype and a lot of other things ("Has stopped working chain reaction" i call it). If i play things that aren't so "needy" is performance, like League of Legends, this does not happen as often, tho it dose tend to happen every 10-15 hours. If i play LoL with my streaming program, Xsplit, the crashes become xtremely more frequent. This leads me to believe, that something is wrong with my computer regarding high performance situations. It also happens often if i have two games open at the same time.
As a note; When the crashes happen, its either this "Chain reaction" i mentioned which is companied by a loud crackling sound, which also transfers to the people i talk with on skype. The other option regarding the type of crash, is a bluescreen. I have tried to update my drivers, clean reinstall them, changed from W7 to XP, all with no effect on the crashes.
I have spoken with a lot of people about this, unable to reach a final conclusion on my problem. A friend of mine, commented that it might be my graphics card not getting enough power, but i don't know. Which is why i wanted to ask on this forum for help.
Specs:
Asus M5A88-V EVO Motherboard
Corsair CMPSU-650TXV2UK
EVGA GeForce GTX 570 797MHz 1280MB
Samsung F3 HD103SJ
AMD Phenom II X4 Quad 955 Core
Cooler Master HAF 932
4GB G.Skill DDR3
Cooler Master Hyper 212
I would love any kind of help, and i am willing to live debate and comment, everyone who might a clue of how to solve this problem.
