I'm building my first computer and I'm unsure about whether to get the cheaper ASUS A8N-E Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce4 Ultra ATX AMD or spend another 70 bucks and get the ASUS A8N-SLI Premium Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce4 SLI ATX AMD.

So I figured I would come here and get the expert opinion of people who actually know about them, as opposed to just flipping a coin and reading chicken bones. I'm trying to build primarilly a gaming computer, and for a midrange price I figure of about 1500-2000 of the dollars.

Do you need SLI or the extra features on the premium.. That's the same board otherwise..

Well i have the premium mobo and it works very well. Be warned though, that it is important to update the bios as there have been a lot of updates (do this via dos and not the windows installer). Also like 70% of psu's dont work with this mobo, but i have a Tagan 580w psu and it works like a charm :) And my setup (see below) games run awesome 😀
