Question Unusually curved lines appear in background of movies and games on my PC.

I apologise if this is the wrong place to post this. I have experienced this small issue since building my PC approximately 2 years ago. I noticed unusual curved lines appearing on my display that I previously thought was a hardware issue. After looking at screenshots taken from different games I believe it might be a software issue because it happens in certain games and not others.
Does anyone know what is causing these lines or what they are because I have given up on fixing this multiple times because I cant find anything. I do have my desktop resolution set at 4K, I usually run games at 2k max at a refresh rate of 60hz.

Thank you for your response! Yes it does this on 4k videos aswell. It seems to change depending on the lighting or colour. This happens alot in dark colours.
