Been a hot minute since I logged into here, would love some opinions on best bang for $:
Gaming on my main, want to stream through a second rig since I have it laying around doing nothing, all rigs in signature.
Thoughts for an updated GPU over the R9 270x to stream online are: 6600 vs. B570; 8gb vs. 10gb.
1 - I want to keep this inexpensive, so the big boys are out (especially because market...)
2 - The mobo was built with some poor choices in connector placement and I have a very limited amount of space for modern GPUs to fit from the single PCIe 16 to the connectors on the bottom of the board.

If all you're going to do with that system is stream online content, then I'd probably recommend selling your R9 270x and that system's 3700X (after updating the BIOS) and using the funds from those sales to pick up an AMD 5600G processor. Leave everything else as is.

A 5600G or 5700G isn't a bad idea, less heat, power, and hassle. But if you want to have a dedicated GPU, I would say go for the B570 provided you can get it around MSRP. Its faster than the RX 6600, has more vram, and is newer. You're also using it on a system that supports above 4g encoding and resizable bar, which are pretty much required to get the best performance out of Intels Arc gpu's.
