Updated bios to support 7th gen intel cpus but no post and no power to usb

So recently I picked up an h110m mobo and I've read that I needed to update the bios using an older cpu, which I did, everything worked fine until i swapped cpu and started using an i5 7600k. I tried two updates, swapping ram, and trying to reset the cmos but it didnt come with a jumper. Just at a loss and need help

my guess would be that only z170 mobo's flash up to use kaby lake
