hello,
i have recently upgraded my system to the following:
-Gigabyte AB350M-HD3
-Kingston HyperX Fury black 8GB 2400mhz
-Ryzen 5 1500x
iam using my old GTX960 as well as a 650W PSU
after assembling everything together i got a blue screen on which the system shut down and went into system repair. i got to the point where it offered to restore the system to an earlier date which i did with only the keyboard working. i still got the blue screen but managed to do a clean reinstall of my OS (win7)
however the USB ports dont work once the system is fully booted. they do work accessing the bios though. i have one PS\2 plug on the motherboard itself that has a split colour on it (both purple and green).
my old PS\2 keyboard works (thats how i got to reinstall windows) while the mouse does not.
iam supposing the USB drivers will need to be updated but i dont know how to do that without a functioning mouse. i also was wondering if i could use Q-Flash to update the drivers that way.
thank you for your time and help.
