I have i7 4790k oc to 4.1ghz pairing with 1060 6gb, for most title the computer is running well for 1080p60fps gaming. Is it worth to upgrade my gtx 1060 to either rtx2060/rx 5600 xt so I can get more than 144fps for most title since I'm running on 1080p144hz monitor that can be oc to 165hz. is there will be any big bottleneck or is it still a good upgrade?

Solution
You will want more than a GTX1060 for your 144hz monitor upgrade. The 5600xt or 2060 will both do the job, though if you can stretch to a 5700xt for another $50-75, that will give you a significant amount more performance and overall better value.

The 5700xt performs about 10% faster than a 2060 super and not far behind a 2070 super.

Your I7 should keep up alright, though a higher overclock would be beneficial. I have seen heavily overclocked Haswell i7 CPUs like yours match a 6700k or 7700k in performance when overclocked pretty far.

Worth is something only YOU can determine.
If you play fast action games, the graphics card is most important.
My general advice is to buy the strongest of your choices if you can.
If you buy the cheaper upgrade, you will always second guess yourself.
The higher price hurts for a little while; regrets last much longer.
