I want to upgrade as much as i can and i mean i can go over the 700 mark i think i could push up to 1k if i want to. thanks for all the replies, just want some more feedback.

You have a good case, psu, and cpu. The only thing I can think of to upgrade is your mother board to that P45 board listed up above, the vid card and larger and faster hard drive. Over clocking is easy, so if you want to add that heat sink and thermal compound up above, that would help you boost your cpu. Otherwise save your money.

Your best choices for a video card would be a HD4870/4890 or a GTX260. I'd advise a GTX285, but the price isn't worth the performance gains over the 4890, in my opinion. You could even go for a 4850x2. Anyone got a comparison between the 4890 and 4850x2? They're about the same price.

If you get a Crossfire motherboard, then when you need a more powerful rig, you can just buy another of the same card and get a sizable increase in performance.

I've heard some bad things about SLI, recently, and I'll admit that I'm not very well informed about it, but right now, Crossfire seems like the better multi-GPU solution.

What bad things did you hear about SLI ?

I was thinking of upgrading my ram since it is older. What do you think would be some good ram to get and how much if i get all the stuff that he recommended above.

GA-EP45-UD3P Motherboard Free shipping promo code: EMCLRLN46
2x 4890/4870 (whichever works for your price point, the 4890's are faster and overclock better than 4870's, so will last you longer before an upgrade)
Corsair 750tx (or 850tx for the 4890's, they are hungry little buggers)
Good fast and cheap ram: G Skill HK DDR2-800

All that is is a big long list of all the EVGA Nvidia GPU's that have been on the market for the last 3 years, you are going to have to be a bit more specific.

That is a very good card. Be aware though that it is an Nvidia GPU, and you chose a Crossfire mobo. SLI (nvidia version of crossfire) is not supported on the P45 chipset, if you want to SLI then you should go to the X58/i7 platform. However if you just wanted to use that one GPU, then you could get a slightly cheaper mobo and PSU, since you don't need to accomodate multiple GPU's in your system.
