[SOLVED] Upgrade in the pc

Hello everyone , i currently have an intel i5-4460 and a gtx 960 4gb with 8gb ram and im planning to upgrade my pc because he can´t run the modern games anymore but im on a budget that i cant upgrade the CPU,GPU,RAM´s and motherboard , so my question is if i upgrade the GPU to gtx 1660 6gb and upgrade to 16Gb of ram,will the cpu struggle with that gpu and will it improve my gaming experience?

Depends on the games you play and want to play.
More ram and a stronger gpu won't improve much in more recent titles if you're still running on an obsolete quad core cpu...

As a generalization, more ram + gpu upgrade would help in single player titles. In the mass multiplayer titles, it won't do much of anything because the cpu is thread limited.

Thanks for the reply so what would you consider a better upgrade a gtx 1660 6gb or a ryzen 5 3600x+plus 16gb ddr4,considering that later i will do both the upgrades but at the moment i cant

Ryzen 3600 is fine.
Ryzen 2600 is a more affordable option.
Ryzen 1600 AF(a cut-down 2600) is a bargain option also, but availability may be limited. Look for SKU: YD1600BBAFBOX, and not YD1600BBAEBOX. The latter is the original 1600.
