Hi guys,

I have decided to get a Samsung 830 128GB SSD, but I have a question or two before I make the plunge. Here are the two I'm looking at:

http://www.amazon.com/SAMSUNG-2-5-Inch-Internal-MZ-7PC128D-AM/dp/B005T3GPXE/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1340115887&sr=1-2&keywords=SAMSUNG+830+128+SSD
VS

One is $20 less than the other, but the more expensive one comes with a "Desktop upgrade kit," which I have no idea what it is. I'm getting this for my desktop, not laptop, but I don't think it matters which I get in that sense.

Is the "upgrade kit" worth the extra $20, and what is it, exactly?

What's your plan for your new SSD

Cloning your actual boot drive ??
Or start from scratch and format ??

If the answer is the first then the kit is useful, if not take the cheaper one
