Asus cg5270, Intel core 2 quad, q8300 2.5, 650 psu, gtx 560 gpu and 8gb ram usable, 1920x1080
I play crysis and bfbc2 and I need more fps and graphic.
I think this is a poor system for these games.
My ? Is can i invest a couple of hundred $ and improve this system till I do a build next year or is it maxed out now.
(What do u suggest to improve this pc?)
This system has very low hours on it and will be used even after my new build.
I plan to spend 1k +- next year on the new one.
Thanks for your valued input.

tricky. if you upgrade the GPU by much you'll be so bottlenecked by the CPU that you'll see no benefit. If you upgrade the CPU by much you'll use all of the budget and hit the limit of the GPU very quickly, this is peril of a non-bottlenecked system as yours is quite well balanced. I think it's all (cpu+mobo+ram+GPU, everything else can be reused (maybe the case if it is slimline or something) or nothing to be honest.

you might find a cpu/mobo/ram combo on offer in price range and a secondhand card. It's a shame as you in that difficult all or nothing point BUT when you do you only need cpu/mobo/ram/gpu, you can reuse case, drives, windows (if you are lucky), see how you budget matches on to that now, and you might be surprised at how little extra you have to spend. I3/i5 + 8GB + Gtx960 might be a nice place to end up.
