Been awhile since I've used this forum, anyways I had upgraded my pc awhile back and got this setup for a decent price, right now I wanna do some upgrades with this current system and I need some help

SPECS
Intel i5 9400F
32GB DDR4 HYPERX 2666
NVIDIA RTX2060 6GB

Reason for this just cause I've been having stuttering issues and sometimes lag spikes in certain games, especially osu! and Discord has been using up most of my cpu
I have updated drivers and even reinstalled Windows, same issue. Deciding to upgrade. Doesn't need to be a big upgrade but an improvement upgrade.

Thanks
Josh

Do you have a budget?

Stuttering is likely because of insufficient cpu capability.
Run this simple test:
Run YOUR games, but lower your resolution and eye candy.
This makes the graphics card loaf a bit.
If your FPS increases, it indicates that your cpu is strong enough to drive a better graphics configuration.
If your FPS stays the same, you are likely more cpu limited.
If you are cpu limited, you have limited upgrade possibilities with your motherboard:

I7-9700K represents about a 25% improvement, and goes for about $100 on ebay.

More than that and you also need a new motherboard.

If you are graphics limited, you may also need to change out your PSU.
