Question Upgrade to RX 5700 XT or RTX 2070?

I play at 1080p144hz. Where I live, the RTX 2070 (not the super version) can be bought for ~$70 more than the rx 5700 xt. I also play VR, and use two monitors (the other is 1080p 60hz), which card would be better?

if it's important, my cpu is an i5 9600k, i currently use a gtx 1060 6gb

price wise definitely 5700 XT win. but to be honest i'm not really sure about VR. because many VR games tend to have less issue with nvidia cards. maybe you need to do more research on the VR part if you really play a lot of VR games.

Yeah I agree with renz and if you like the look of ray tracing you MAY wanna consider an RTX card
