Hi,
I've upgraded my pc lately, I was expecting super much FPS and it didn't give me as much as it should.
I play Fortnite mainly and I get 130 average whilst I wanted it to get to get consistent 200-240 fps for my monitor.
I saw a video on youtube with almost the same specs, and he did overclock it but it would give him still only a 10% or 5% more fps.
He gets like 300-400. I play on the lowest settings with epic view.
If someone could help me with this it would be highly appreciated. :)
Many thanks.

My specs are:

Operating System
Windows 10 Pro 64-bit

Solution
So Just going to settings - reset and then delete all the files with it right ?

No Reset is different, again I don't know if this will cleanly remove all drivers. I guess its worth a try. I would still backup any important information just in case to another drive. If that drive is connected to your PC I would remove it before you proceed to make sure it isn't affect by the Reset/Reinstall.

Yeah they probably just swapped everything out. Windows is weird, although Microsoft says you can change motherboards without issue, almost everyone will have weird issues if you do so.

A clean reinstall of Windows is pretty much mandatory when you do a motherboard swap. Be sure to backup any data before you reinstall.

I can just keep my files right only windows reinstall ?

Nope, anything installed on the Windows drive will be erased.

Windows 10 does have a "Reset" feature that lets you keep your files but I'm unsure if that's actually enough to solve any potential issues.

The reason you need to reinstall Windows is because of the conflicts that previous chip-set and other hardware drivers can cause with new stuff including performance issues. After you get Windows freshly reinstalled you will want to download and install the following motherboard drivers https://www.gigabyte.com/us/Motherboard/X570-AORUS-ELITE-rev-10/support#support-dl-driver-chipset

You really only need the Audio, Chipset, and LAN driver. If you have your storage in RAID youll also want those drivers. After you get those motherboard drivers installed you will want to go to https://www.geforce.com/drivers to get your graphics card driver.

Again this is only if Windows wans't reinstalled when you went from the i7-2600 to the Ryzen 3700 which I'm assuming the PC Shop you took it to did not do.
