upgradeing cpu

Hello i have a MSI k8n neo2 platinum mobo and was wondering if anyone had any idea if that board would take a AMD X2 4400+ socket 939 cpu? with bios update 1.9, I have a 3200 in there now just wanted something a lil more

Yes, it would seem that bios update 1.9 allows E6 chips to be recognized.

I wouldn't say that you have to upgrade your bios everytime you change a cpu. im sure its a good idea though. has anyone tried a 4400+ x2 in a MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum Mobo? im pretty much going to buy one just wanted to make sure it would work.
