Hello,
I'm in the process of upgrading my pc and need help finding the best route to take with it.
Currently I've got: I5 3570k, Gtx 1060 6Gb, micro atx mobo, 1600mhz ram ( or 1300 ), hyper 212 evo fan, Cx 500W Psu, Slow 500Gb hdd and no ssd.
I've got £450 right now and want to upgrade cpu, mobo, ram, hdd and ssd, or whatever you suggest.
I'm just looking to play games like Apex legends and overwatch with the highest fps possible.
So any help would be appreciated thanks.

Is there any worthwhile upgrades within a £600 budget. I feel like the suggested list is a bit overkill for my usage as I only really play competitive games where future proof gpu upgrades might not be necessary. Would it be a bad move to maybe go for ryzen 5 3600x with slower ram and lower psu, As for my case im not entirely sure but I know im running a micro atx board.
Thanks
Sure, but it becomes less of an upgrade as you move to older, slower parts. Also, a smaller power supply will limit your GPU upgrade options later on. This may still be worth doing-

My advice is to wait a bit and increase your budget. Parts availability is terrible right now anyways. Any worthwhile upgrade is going to cost more than your listed budget. Your older green label Corsair power supply has issues of its own and has to be upgraded straight away or it may put any new hardware at risk. I recommend a high quality 750 watt PSU, which will give you plenty of options when you upgrade your GPU. If you intend to reuse your chassis then you should list it so anyone responding will be able to list upgrade options that will be compatible. Here's an example of what I'd consider a worthwhile upgrade-

Here's a CPU comparison-
