APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: A month from now

BUDGET RANGE: Anything $400 USD or under not including taxes

USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Gaming, specifically Minecraft, League of Legends, Genshin Impact. Looking for around 6GB VRAM to meet recommended requirement for Realm of the Mad God Exalt.

CURRENT GPU AND POWER SUPPLY: AMD Radeon HD 7500 Series, HK560-18FP (460W)

OTHER RELEVANT SYSTEM SPECS: Intel Core i7 4770, 16GB RAM, XPS 8700 case which is relatively tight

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: amazon.com, newegg.com

COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: United States

PARTS PREFERENCES: Preferably a Nvidia GPU, but in the end it doesn't really matter

OVERCLOCKING: No

SLI OR CROSSFIRE: No

MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1440x900

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: I would like to try to avoid replacing my PSU if possible, but if it has to be replaced then that is fine. I am relatively new to computer stuff, so if I need to provide more information please let me know in detail what you need to know. If a new PSU is needed, it doesn't need to be included in the budget.

The budget almost seems overkill for what you want.
1440x900, 16:10 aspect ration and a total pixel count between 720p-1080p.

$400 isn't going to get you to the 'recommended' spec for Realm of the Mad God Exalt @ 1080p
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-9700 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600
  • Memory: 16GB RAM
  • Memory: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 / AMD Radeon RX 580 (6GB VRAM)
  • Network: Broadband Internet connection
  • Hard Drive: 250MB available space
  • Resolution: 1920x1080
  • Avg. FPS: 60
But you already well exceed to minimum, with the exception of the GPU.

  • Processor: Intel Core i5-3330 or AMD A10 5700
  • Memory: 8GB RAM
  • Memory:...

  • Memory: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 / AMD Radeon HD 7750 (1GB VRAM)
  • Network: Broadband Internet connection
  • Hard Drive: 250MB available space
  • Resolution: 800x600
  • Avg. FPS: 30

A GPU upgrade is probably all you 'need', and the PSU should suffice for cards up to something like a 1650 Super which is ~1060 performance for $160... but only 4GB VRAM. At your resolution, it should be plenty.
