In need of an upgrade and I don't know what would be the smartest move to make, your help is much appreciated!

My build:
Cpu: AMD Ryzen 5 3600
Cooler: NZXT Kraken X52
Motherboard: Asus RS B550-f GAMING (Wifi)
Memory: Corsair Vengence LPX 16 GB (3000 mhz)
Video Card: Gigabyte GAMING OC Rx 5700 XT
Power Supply: Corsair RM550X

Intel chips are a great value right now.

You want the 3200 or 3600mhz. Prime Day had the 16GB Crucial 3600mhz CL 16 for 75.

Ram yesterday at newegg 32GB DDR4 3200 for 85

2x8GB 3600Mhz RAM would probably help and treat yourself to an SSD if you don't already have one.

I guess at normal prices you can buy a 3080, but then like the others suggested get faster RAM and maybe check what GPU you can afford with the leftover money.

The CPU is slightly weak by today's standards but it should be okay for a few more years

why are you in need of an upgrade?
that isn’t a bad system by any means.

use the next year and a half to save up another 700 and upgrade on the next gen cpu gpu cycle.
