I own this older MOBO
2 questions
- Should I expect any compatibility issues if I upgrade the CPU to most recent Threadripper? (I have the older 1950x Threadripper)
- I want to upgrade the capacity of my current NvME drives to 1 or 2TB. Some confusion. HWInfo states that I have 3 512GB NVMe drives (attached)
Where in the features list can I find and confirm this?

One M.2 slot is located under removable portion of chipset heatsink.
And there are two more M.2 slots available with DIMM.2 addon card.
Please read user manual of your motherboard.

Storage
2 x M.2 Socket 3, with M Key design, type 2242/2260/2280/22110 storage devices support (Supports both SATA & PCIE SSD)*2
1 x M.2 Socket 3, with M key, type 2242/2260/2280 storage devices support (both SATA & PCIE mode)

Thanks! Looks like I will need to get the add on card first.

Thanks. I need to take better notes! Was about 5 years back I did the build:rolleyes:
BTW - one of your drives appears to be unused - Disk1.
It has a partition, but file system is not identified and it has no drive letter assigned.

Do you know, what's in there?
If you don't know anything about it, then
try assigning a drive letter and check, if you can access anything on it.

If inaccessible, then format, assign a drive letter and you'll have another 477GB of usable space.
