I have been running off this rig for several years and it's lately gotten sluggish when working with 4k. Rendering out of Premiere & After Effects takes much longer than I would like. If anyone can recommend parts for me to start upgrading to a faster system I would wholeheartedly appreciate it.

I'm thinking first would be a Motherboard upgrade compatible with DDR4 or DDR5 Memory.

The Specs Speccy gave me are as follows:

Case
Cooler Master Stryker Storm Trooper SE

Operating System
Windows 10 Pro 64-bit

CPU
Intel Core i7 3770K @ 3.50GHz 37 °C
Ivy Bridge 22nm Technology

RAM
32.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 668MHz (9-9-9-24)

Motherboard
ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. BM6650_BM6350 (LGA1155) 28 °C

Graphics
S27E510 (1920x1080@60Hz)
2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB (EVGA) 39 °C

Storage
238GB SAMSUNG SSD 830 Series ATA Device (SATA (SSD)) 25 °C
465GB Samsung SSD 860 EVO 500GB ATA Device (SATA (SSD)) 28 °C
930GB Microsoft Storage Space Device (TMax (SSD))
931GB Western Digital WD My Passport 25E1 USB Device (USB (SATA) ) 30 °C

Optical Drives
HL-DT-ST BD-RE WH14NS40 ATA Device
Microsoft Virtual DVD-ROM

Audio
Realtek High Definition Audio

Thanks again for any help!

Thank you for responding kanewolf. It will be an incremental thing, Probably should have highlighted that. Right now I've allotted about $500 for motherboard and memory. The other components would be purchased over time. At least ideally they would be. There's room for slightly more in the budget.
