Hello, Intel user here.
What happened:
I need help with deciding a cheap upgrade to a Ryzen system. I have Intel currently and due to security issues I am highly considering getting Ryzen to have a complete peace of mind, plus it's time I start considering an upgrade because I have noticed that my current rig is just not within satisfactory boundaries anymore, but since I am not familiar with AMD at all I need someone to advice me in what I should buy to ensure I don't make a stupid decision
My current system:
Motherboard: H110M-R
CPU: Intel Core i3 6100
GPU: GTX 950
RAM: 1x8GB
Power Supply: 350W Corsair VS350 (I heard it's bad but couldn't change it because I have a pre-built and it was under warranty, it no longer is)
Storage: WD Green 2 TB, WD Blue 1 TB and 128GB Samsung Evo 840
This was a pre-bult system, which I got for around £600 (I was totally ripped off!) but I guess it serves me right for getting a pre-built in the first place. The only thing I added was the SSD and the 2TB drive
What I am looking for:
Obviously, my main goal here is to get a Ryzen CPU, something equivalent to an i3 or i5 but since obviously AMD doesn't work on Intel boards I also need to replace my motherboard, which is great because my motherboard sucks. I have issues with storage, hence all these drives but my current board has run out of SATA ports and my expansion slots such as PCIe are not many as this board only has two 1X slots and a 16X slot for my GPU, so really bad long term growth is on this one which is why upgrading would be really nice
So to sum it up, here is what I need in bullet points:

So to sum it up, here is what I need in bullet points:
- A Ryzen CPU that is equivalent in power to either an i3 or possibly an i5 if price is not too crazy. I can do older Ryzen such as Ryzen 3 if it means cheaper
- A motherboard that has plenty of expansion options such PCIe slots with good bandwidth on each one
- The motherboard has to have legacy I/O COM & LPT ports as I work with old equipment sometimes, I understand that these don't come external anymore, but motherboards have internal headers for them, like mine does
- PS/2 if possible, but I can cut down on that if I find a good motherboard that meets my criteria as there are adapters I can use for PS/2
- A Floppy Disk Drive controller built into the motherboard (Would be nice but who am I kidding there is no way such a thing exists on modern motherboards nowadays, but wonder if there is a PCi expansion card that can give me one?)
