all this upgrading the cpu and all, i got a dell 4400 p4 1.6ghz what will she
run in a faster p4?

Fastest should be a 2.6/400mhz (478pin) P4. That machine used PC2100 DDR.
Still plenty of life, even for gaming, depending on your video card and
total system RAM (512 minimum would be nice).
