I have been working on a solution to this for days. Can't come up with anything good.

I need one more internal usb 2.0 (9.0 pin connector) I have tons of free internal USB 3.0 connectors. I am unable to find an adaptor that will directly convert a 9 pin female plug, to 20 pin female. (it would have to have a 9 pin male, to 20 pin female.) What do you recommend?

I have considered this solution, will it work?

Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD5h-wb

It has 2 USB 2.0 Headers,

The wifi card that it came bundled with Uses one of the USB 2.0 (9 pin) sockets. Then I have 2 sets of (2) Case front mounted USB 2.0. Each one requires its own USB 2.0 Socket.

I have 2 or 3 left over usb 3.0 (20 pin) Sockets on the mainboard.

The manual, on page 11, says

"...
3 x USB 3.0/2.0 headers
Š2 x USB 2.0/1.1 headers
..."

and the OP has three internal USB 2.0 devices that he needs headers for. He can't just plug the USB 2.0 connector into the USB 3.0 header. The pin alignments are different (pg. 33 in the manual). He needs a male 9-pin to a female 20-pin adapter to plug the USB 2.0 device into the 3.0 header.
