USB 3.0 Connection Problems

Hello, I have recently acquired a haf 912 advanced. On the front of the case, there are two inbuilt usb 3.0 ports that link together joining into a 20 pin female port. I have also purchased a P9X79 Asus motherboard. On this motherboard, I can find no male port for this to link up with. If someone could tell me where to locate this port or an adaptor of some sort, to link the two components together, it would be greatly appreciated.

If i'm not mistaken 912 has 2.0 ports on the front panel

As stated above, the HAF 912 doesn't have USB 3.0 front panel ports, unless you have the advanced version, which is limited to Asia only. But this is the part that you look for.

But be sure that you do mean USB 3.0, not 2.0 because they use a completely different type of plug. In this case, You'd use something like this.

No, I do in fact have the advanced version, with the two 3.0 ports, and am based in Australia.

I'm confused...
Real 912 advanced should have 3.0 connectors.
If your doesn't have it, i'm coming to conclusion it's not the case you think it is/

He's saying that it came with a female connector and not a male one, so he needs an adapter.

Alright, well the below link is a picture of the wiring that came built into the case. It is the end of where the two 3.0 ports meet where the port I am talking about is. I just can't seem to find an appropriate port on the mobo to connect it to.

Apparently, there is no onboard header for USB 3.0. Looks like ypu are going to have to route those cables to the back of your I/O ports.
