[SOLVED] USB dongle not fitting in USB port

I've bought a razer wireless mouse which works with bluetooth and a dongle.
The USB port on my laptop is a little tight and is capable of fitting other USB accessories in to it but it seems impossible to get the dongle in there.

I have to put quite a lot of pressure normally on it with a mouse that has a cable. Now that the dongle is small it seems impossible to get it in there. The pressure i've put on it hasn't worked but i didn't try any more in fear of breaking the port.

Any suggestions? My laptop is quite new but the port has been used quite a bit so it might be a question of using it even more to loosen it.

Most (all) laptops last couple of years have built-in Bluetooth, you should not need this adapter at all.

Option one: plug-it-and-leave-it
Option two: USB Extension cable
