USB Port

I have a LexMark 6600 Printer and it is not connecting to the computer. I do have USB cable and I am trying to see if it is compatible with my computer

Did you install the drivers first? If you no longer have the CD, check out LexMark's support site for the drivers and then try and hook it up to the computer.
