So I discovered the reason my keyboard stops working after I boot into windows is because my ports are not getting enough power. I discovered this by using an externally powered USB Hub. I have tried updating the drivers a they have the yellow warning next to them, problem is that I cannot install them for some reason. How do I fix this?

MOBO: Asus P6X58D-E

How many cables do you have running from the keyboard? If you have 2 i would connect them to individual ports (in the motherboard), as they drain pretty much power. And your mobo is a bit older and propably has older gen usb with less powerdraw.

Well it does have 2 USB cables coming from it, but they are obviously in different USB ports. Thing is that I have used 4 different keyboard and mouse combinations and none of them work. Some RGB other plain old office peripherals.
