usb xhci compliant host controller

hello guys since yesterday im having an issue..i just updated some chipset drivees and when i restarted usb 3.0 are all disabled except usb 3.1..and also i checked my manufacture website there was no sign of this driver ..please help me im begging u..cant do anything tbh..and btw it says usb xhci compliant host controller error code 10

What is the make/model of your motherboard? Also, what operating system are you trying to install?

if you go to the mb vendor web page there may be usb drivers for both intel and asmedia chipsets.

@colgeek:my mb model is gigabyte z170x gaming 3 ans also i instslled windows 10 again and still the error goes

btw guys i heard that updating bios shall fix this ..but dunno how to update because there is only one port which works

That motherboard only has Intel USB controllers and the drivers are listed at the support site:

@colgeek i inistalled the usb 3.1 flw but that didnt work..i think its up to bios version ..

Suggest you get the latest motherboard drivers / firmware (i.e. ones from the mobo site, rather than generic ones).

Please do not start a new thread to ask the same question.

You either have not installed the correct drivers, have a defective motherboard, or have something misconfigured in your BIOS settings for the USB controllers.

Are you using the default settings for the USB controllers in your BIOS?

You can certainly try to update your BIOS, but I don't suspect it will affect the USB controllers. When you installed the USB 3.0 drivers, did you receive any error messages?

my usb 3.0 got worked for 10 minutes and when i restarted my pc..it corrupted ..also i updated bios but that didnt do anything..i really got disappointed by this issue..and btw there is a surprising driver that this XHCI has changed to extensible driver ..any idea?
